Deus Ex: Human Revolution Review Event - Introduction - by Stephen Meyerink

Thanks to Square Enix and Eidos Montreal, I recently had the pleasure of visiting the United States' next-door neighbor to spend an entire day with the developers of the upcoming Deus Ex: Human Revolution. I heard a great deal about a number of different aspects of the game, straight from the dev team themselves. Not only that, but I was able to sit down and have one-on-one chats with Game Director Jean-François Dugas, Producer David Anfossi, and Audio Director Steve Szczepkowski. Finally, I got to sit down and spend several hours digging in to a sizeable chunk of the game, and I was able to replay the section a few times in order to test out the varied approaches to problem-solving that the game has on offer. All in all, it was an excellent day and a great chance to really see what the new game in the venerable series is all about. So without further ado, I present to you my report!
