Ogre Battle 64 Preview

Hello readers! The mighty previews section will now be updated. However, I must confess that this update will be only one preview. That preview is on Ogre Battle 64! Yes I know, I finally got it finished. I am just as happy as you are.

Ogre Battle 64 is Atlus's big bombshell for the Nintendo 64. This SRPG has some amazing qualities that we find in most classics. Does it have what it takes? Here's a little clip from the preview:

"Ogre Battle 64 contains three major scenarios. If you’re anything like me, multiple scenarios is always a good thing. The scenarios are all different and the scenario you enter will depend on previous actions and previous battles. Each scenario includes about 40 battles for you to engage in combat with monsters, humans, elementals, and so forth and so on. Overall, this should make for approximately 30 to 35 hours of gameplay."

"As for my impression of the graphics, they are amazing to say the least. The battle scene is filled with colors and incredibly well drawn characters. Each character is very well detailed with colors and shadows. There are well over 200 hand drawn images that I have seen and they are nothing short of amazing. It is rather obvious that there was great attention paid to each individual sprite and all of the movements and actions it can perform."

You can read the rest of the preview right here.

Now, go read the rest of it. It's a pretty large preview so enjoy. If you don't read it, no Christmas update for you!
