Early Information on Dragon Quest VIII

Enix President, Keiji Honda, spoke on Thursday regarding the next installment in the Dragon Quest series. Honda confirmed that planning and early development has begun on the eighth installment of the series. No official announcement has been made as to which console Dragon Quest VIII would appear on, but PlayStation 2 is a likely candidate. Enix has tentatively slated the game to be released sometime in the year 2002.
