We're a little late on this news story but we have an excuse... we were working on this nifty new design :). Anyway, Dark Cloud was released earlier this week for the Playstation 2 console and should be available in a store near you.The game features random-generated dungeons as well as a weapon system similar to Vagrant Story. Also, there is a world-building aspect in the game. When in dungeons, you gain items that allow you to create more buildings in the village, etc. The battle system is also reminiscent of the N64 Zelda titles.
Will this game be a hit or a miss? Only time will tell. We'll give you the full skinny with a full review of the game in the not-so-distant future.
