After being played by the highly picky, and very prominent, Weekly Famitsu review team, Shenmue II managed to squeak out a Famitsu "Gold" Award with a score of 32 out of 40. The breakdown of the scores was an even 8/8/8/8.Shenmue II will be released in Japan on September 6th, and is currently set at most retailers for a December 4th release stateside.
