As reported by Famitsu, the new Estpolis (Lufia in the states) game for GBA is finally taking shape. While not much is known about the game at this point, a short description reveals it as a "Gaiden"--or "side-story".Plot information has not been released, however some gameplay elements have been mentioned. In addition to being able to capture enemies and transform them into allies, the game will feature a four-player random dungeon game for use with the GBA link cable. Up to four players can play this dungeon simultaneously, and presumable be forced to solve puzzle in order to find treasure.
TAITO has currently set Estpolis Gaiden for a February 2002 release.
