Konami takes a bite out of Genki.

Konami of Japan announced Wednesday that it would acquire a 37.24% stake in the software firm, Genki, for 315 million yen (2.37 million USD). The deal, which is expected to be completed by March 31st, would help strengthen Konami’s game line-up. Genki is best known for its work on the Jade Cocoon series. Could this possibly mean we can expect more RPGs from Konami? RPGFan will continue to keep you updated on any further developments!

Thanks to SrBehemoth for the heads up!
