Square has announced that they have sold more than 4 million copies of their PlayStation 2 blockbuster Final Fantasy X in North America and Japan. This pushes the total sales figures for the Final Fantasy series to 38 million worldwide.So far Square has sold 2.48 million copies of the game in Japan, since its release on July 19th. The company expects to sell another 260,000 copies in its home market, thanks to Final Fantasy X International. This edited version of FFX, which is due to be released in Japan tomorrow, will feature English voice acting, minor changes regarding the battle system and an additional demo disc.
