2nd Super Robot Taisen Alpha Coming to PS2
Banpresto has announced a new installment of its popular Super Robot Taisen series of anime-based strategy RPGs, titled the 2nd Super Robot Taisen Alpha. The game will take place three months after Super Robot Wars Alpha Gaiden and will feature characters from four anime series, which haven't appeared in any previous Super Robot Taisen game. A grand total of 22 mecha-themed anime series are set to appear in the game. Apart from improving the map and dialogue scenes, Banpresto also plans to add additional animations to every mech unit. The 2nd Super Robot Taisen Alpha will be released in Japan sometime in spring 2003 and carry a retail price of 7,980yen (65.24USD).
