Tales of Symphonia Website Opens

Namco has opened the official website for its GameCube RPG Tales of Symphonia. Just like in the series' first installment, Tales of Phantasia, Kousuke Fujishima is in charge of the character designs. The game's protagonist is 17-year old Lloyd Irving, who was raised by a dwarf foster father, following the death of his parents. The hot-blooded Lloyd lives in the apocalyptic world of Silver Land, which he, along with his two friends Collet Brunet and Genius Sage, tries to transform back into the peaceful place it was a long time ago. While the latter is a magician and close friend of Lloyd's, the former is related to angels, as a blood-relative of Mana, but at the same time also a childhood friend of the protagonist.
Tales of Symphonia will be available in Japan sometime in July 2003.
