Lucas Arts has announced that its Bioware-developed Xbox RPG Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic has gone gold. Taking place 4,000 years prior to the events of the Star Wars movie saga, the game will feature an original story focusing on the conflict between Jedi and Sith. By winter 2003, Lucas Arts is aiming to offer Xbox Live users special downloadable content, such as new weapons or items for the game.Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic will be available next week, on July 16th.
