Banpresto has revealed new information on the newest installment of its flagship series Super Robot Taisen, Super Robot Taisen MX for PlayStation 2. The mechas for the game's protagonist Hugo and his partner will be two original robots: Garmraid and Cerberus. While the former is geared towards close-range combat, the latter one is better suited for long-range combat and bombardments. Upon starting a new game, the player has to choose one of the two robots to become Hugo's mech.Super Robot Taisen MX will be available in Japan sometime in March 2004.
