Magna Carta Goes Worldwide
02.25.04 - 7:37 PM

Softmax has announced that a title based on its highly popular RPG Magna Carta, which had already been confirmed for a Japanese PlayStation 2 release, will be released worldwide under the title Magna Carta: Shinku no Seikon.

Magna Carta was originally released two years ago and became an instant hit for Softmax. Previously, another PC title developed by Softmax, Rhapsody of Zephyr (Nishikaze no Rhapsody) had already managed to make its way to Japanese Dreamcasts and PlayStation 2s. The development of these versions however was handled not by Softmax, but Nihon Falcom. Magna Carta will mark the first time Softmax itself will embark on the development of a console game.
