Guild Wars Heading for Late April Release in US, Europe

NCSoft has announced that its ArenaNet-developed MMORPG Guild Wars will be released simultaneously in North America and Europe on April 28th. The deluxe version will come with a soundtrack album, a cloth map of the game's world, a Logitech headset, an artbook and a three month subscription for the voice-over-Internet protocol application Teamspeak.Those who pre-order either version of Guild Wars will be treated to exclusive items from certain retailers such as EBgames as well as early access to the game (April 27th instead of April 28th). NCSoft will not charge any subscription charges for playing its newest MMORPG. Guild Wars is ArenaNet's first title. The development studio is made up of developers who previously worked on Warcraft, Diablo and the Battle.net network for Blizzard Entertainment.
