Blizzard Registers 1.5 Million Subscriptions for World of Warcraft

Blizzard Entertainment announced, that the number of total subscriptions for its hit MMORPG World of Warcraft has reached 1.5 million. Since its launch on November 23rd, the company's newest MMORPG has consecutively conquered North America, Europe and South Korea. 500,000 subscribers playing World of Warcraft simultaneously around the world have been recorded. In North America and Europe alone, the subscriber base has exceeded 1.3 million (800,000 in North America and 500,000 in Europe).
