Suikoden V Release Details Announced

Konami today revealed details regarding the pre-order campaign and limited edition of its upcoming PlayStation 2 RPG Suikoden V. Those who purchase the newest installment of the long-running RPG series in Japan before January 29th 2006 will be treated to a premium DVD titled Gensou Suikoden-Shi (History of Suikoden). This DVD will contain promotional trailers for the various series' installments, a data collection detailing the 108 Stars of Destiny as featured in Suikoden I to IV, staff interviews and a collection of BGM tracks.The game's limited edition will come with a 200-page material and data collection, an arrange album and a special artbook. Suikoden V will be released in Japan on February 23rd. The game's standard version will be available for 6,980 yen ($58.70 US), while the limited edition will go on sale for 8,980 yen ($75.52 US).
