Bandai Namco Announces Specifics Regarding Game Development Subsidiary

Bandai Namco Holdings announced the creation of a game development company named Bandai Namco Games as of March 31st. The new company's capital stock will be 15 billion yen ($131.06 million US). 1650 Namco staffers and 55 Bandai staffers will work at the new company. Bandai Namco Games will integrate the development activities of arcade and home console-based games as well as mobile contents. Its president will be Namco vice president Shukuo Ishigawa, while Bandai's Shin Unozawa will serve as vice president. Namco founder and longtime president Masaya Nakamura will act as chairman.
