Downloadbale Version of Arc The Lad Available In Japan Next Month
10.26.06 - 4:13 PM

Today, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan detailed its download service for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable. Those lucky enough to get their hands on a PlayStation 3 unit next month will be able to download several original PlayStation 3 games and ten PlayStation games. Those PlayStation games will initially only be playable on your PlayStation Portable, even though PlayStation 3 will support their playback after a firmware update coming soon after the system's launch.

Among the ten games, there is thankfully at least one RPG title, namely the original Arc The Lad. There is hope, though, that Sony Computer Entertainment will offer more RPGs for download in the months to come. The company currently plans to add about ten games to its download service per month. Please note that the PlayStation titles made available by Sony Computer Entertainment America will most likely differ from the ten games announced by Sony Computer Entertainment Japan today.
