Capcom has announced the acquisition of development studio K2. After a stock swap in May, the Osaka-based shop behind Marvelous Interactive's two Valhalla Knights titles for PlayStation Portable will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of the makers of Resident Evil and Megaman. Capcom cited strengthening of its development capabilities as reason for the acquisition.
