XSEED Bringing Ragnarok Online DS Stateside

XSEED Games has announced they have partnered with GungHo Online Entertainment to bring Ragnarok Online DS to North America in Winter 2009. A portable version of GungHo's MMORPG, players can team up with up to two other players to explore the game's Tower of Mirages, which features more than 50 randomly generated floors.

"We could not be more pleased to be involved in bringing such a well-known and beloved series on the PC to a handheld platform," said Jun Iwasaki, President of XSEED Games. "Ragnarok Online DS stays true to the original while adding elements to optimize the experience on the Nintendo DS."
