Villains Missing in Action
May's editorial leaves us asking: where did all the awesome baddies go?

Mark P. Tjan is no stranger to moral ambiguity in storytelling. So here's a question for us: can an RPG still have a decent villain without espousing a very basic "good versus evil" plot?

It's difficult to say. But in today's editorial, Mark points us to one of the key villains of the last decade: Luca Blight of Suikoden II. Even with that series' politically charged tale, the complexity of the story does not preclude the possibility of a truly evil, and unforgettable, villain.
