FFXI: A Shantotto Ascension Expansion Review
Ohohoho, the last expansion is mine! With Shantotto as star, it is sure to be fine!
12.05.09 - 6:19 PM

Three mini-expansion "add-ons" were announced last year at the FFXI FanFest (note that a FanFest 2009 did not happen this year... very telling). But if Final Fantasy XI is losing steam with the pending release of Final Fantasy XIV, at least the new content coming out is still good.

Final Fantasy XI: A Shantotto Ascension stars everyone's favorite ever-rhyming, ever-evil-genius Tarutaru. Well, it actually stars a few of her. And more Shantotto(s) can never be a bad thing.

While you should read the full review, let me sum it up here: this bit of add-on content makes up for the last two.

Please click below to read the full review, and keep your eyes on the site for an insanely comprehensive review of Final Fantasy XI: Wings of the Goddess, which will be written as soon as the main plot arc is finished (likely, in the coming 3 or 4 months).
