Zenonia 2: The Lost Memories, Dates and Details Inside
Also inside, discover the meaning of the term "asynchronous online multiplayer."
01.20.10 - 5:32 PM

Remember that iPhone/iPod touch RPG that won an award in our "games of 2009" round-up? I do! Zenonia was one of the few fully developed RPGs for the budding platform, and it was certainly our favorite. And that's why we're excited for the sequel.

GAMEVIL has released some details regarding Zenonia 2: The Lost Memories, which is currently scheduled for an English-language release sometime in March 2010. Your character will be one of four character classes: paladin, warrior, shooter, or magician. The game will offer harder difficulty levels than its predecessor. There will be terrain effects to deal with while exploring in this Action RPG, including snow and ice.

Finally, and perhaps most important, the game will offer "asynchronous online multiplayer" features. What does that mean? Basically, you can download the data of a friend's character and compete against that character even though your friend isn't controlling live on the other side.

We'll have more details for, and some pictures of, Zenonia 2 in the near future.
