Zenonia 3 Gains Subtitle, Release Date
It's soon! Zenonia 1 is on sale as well.
04.15.11 - 9:40 PM

GAMEVIL's first Zenonia title originally gained quite a bit of notoriety from the gaming community as it was one of the first true, high-quality action RPGs for the iPhone, and like the game's original debut on Korean cell phones, ended up quite popular. Zenonia 2 followed in 2010, and finally, later this month, the third title will be available, titled Zenonia 3: The Midgard Story.

Zenonia 3 puts players in control of Chael, son of the unfortunately-named hero of Zenonia, Regret. With the world of Zenonia divided into three realms - The Earth Realm, Heavenly Realm and Midgard Realm - Chael and his fairy companion must traverse the Midgard Realm in an effort to return to the Earth Realm. Oh, and assist the Divine Tribe in returning to the Heavenly Realm.

Zenonia 3 will feature 136 quests to complete, 48 Game Center achievements, hundreds of pieces of equipment to customize your character, new network/online modes, over 200 monsters, a streamlined interface, no more weight and hunger systems (thank you!), and for those with an iPhone 4 or 4th generation iPod touch, support for those devices' Retina Displays.

Anyway, Zenonia 3 is hitting the App Store on April 28th, so you might want to keep an eye out for it. Meanwhile, Zenonia is on sale for $0.99, and Zenonia 2 can be yours for only $2.99 if you want to get a feel for the games ahead of time - though Zenonia 3 looks to offer marked improvements over both titles.

Finally, here's a good look at the game in motion, thanks to excellent iOS gaming site Touch Arcade:
