ESRB Leak Confirms Final Fantasy VI For North American Virtual Console

While there's still no news of a proper remake, North American fans of Final Fantasy VI can finally look forward to a re-release of the acclaimed title on the Wii's Virtual Console. The title is already available on Japanese and European VCs, and makes its way to the Japanese PSN next week. A rating has appeared in the ESRB's database for the game, confirming its impending release. To be consistent with the (emulated) console it is being released on, the game will be the SNES version and go by its original moniker of Final Fantasy III.
