In Cassardis, the world of
Dragon's Dogma, we've seen among others griffins, some interesting chimera, and now a purple-glowing Golem. Not only is he huge (you have to climb him if you want to fight him up-close), but he can shoot energy beams too.
Unfortunately, we didn't get a go at him at E3 like we did with the chimera. Among the classes you can choose from in Dragon's Dogma are striders (archers), mages, fighters and assassins (no, they don't get to run across rooftops in Italy). As you might expect, the first two are ranged while the last two need to get up close.
