The Bard's Tale Goes To iOS
Which one? Well the PS2 and Xbox iteration, of course.

Add this one to a rather long list of iOS ports of RPGs: action RPG The Bard's Tale is just the latest to be headed to Apple's devices. Or to be more precise, the 2004 PlayStation 2 and Xbox title - one that has little in common with the dungeon crawling series from the 80s with the same name. InXile's The Bard's Tale, which parodies RPGs and their cliches, maintains everything from the 2004 game and adds leaderboards and achievements. There will also be in-game purchases, but if you can't justify spending the money on items and equipment, you'll be able to earn all of these same ones in the game eventually too.

Above is the iPad version's trailer, and below you can find John M's review of the PS2 version to learn more about the game. The Bard's Tale has no date or price yet, but has already been submitted to Apple, so we can expect to see its release soon.
