Many of you have already played Final Fantasy XIII-2's demo, which so far has generated a positive response... as far as gameplay goes. Leading up to its release, Square Enix is still sharing clips of the game. The latest is a look at the game's time gates and time travel.

As you play through Final Fantasy XIII-2, you'll use the portals and Historia Crux system to fix time paradoxes in different eras. You'll need to find fragments to open up these portals however, so as you progress you'll be able to open up more areas and 'repair' the timeline.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 releases on January 31st in North America, and February 3rd in Europe.
