In SEGA's Shining Blade, your main character Reiki has a sword-wielding friend, Yukihime, who can affect your status in battle if she's in 'high tension' mode. Her moods can boost your status depending on what that mood is - and the mood, in turn, is dependent on your actions. Be a hero, and her mood improves. Other characters' personalities will show through in battle, too, both by their status menu and by what actions they take. Also mentioned by Famitsu was a 'Cerberus Mode Change' but it's not clear what this mode change is, exactly.
