This week's issue of Famitsu has good news for
Shin Megami Tensei fans... ones who own a 3DS, anyway. The magazine reveals that
Shin Megami Tensei IV is in the works for Nintendo's handheld, and yes, it really is a numbered title. See?
Unfortunately, we have no details until the magazine is on stands and the official website opens, both of which will happen tomorrow. And yes, this does mean that Strange Journey for DS wasn't SMTIV after all. Strange Journey is one of (very) few non-numbered MegaTen titles in Japan, whereas Persona and Devil Survivor titles tend to get the SMT 'brand' added on when released in North America.
