Ys IV Vita Remake Dated For September In Japan
Do we see a forest or a sea of trees here?
06.20.12 - 2:09 AM

Last Tokyo Game Show (that would be last September for those of you not actually keeping track), Falcom revealed an Ys IV 're-imagining' for the PlayStation Vita. The remake's name is most commonly translated to Ys Celceta: Sea of Trees, though we presume that if the game were to come out West, 'sea of trees' would likely turn into a woodlands or a forest. And no, it hasn't been announced for Western release yet, but president Toshihiro Kondo did mention a few months back that he hopes that fans here would enjoy the title.

As for Japan, fans there will get to enjoy Ys Celceta no Jukai in September. Famitsu this week lists the Vita remake as a September 27th release priced at 7140 yen ($90.51 US). The game uses a battle system kind of like Ys SEVEN's, and explains how Adol came to be an adventurer.

And if you're hoping for an English version, well, stay tuned!
