In a new press release, Marvelous AQL announced that two characters from past
Rune Factory titles will appear in upcoming
Rune Factory 4.
First is Barrett from Rune Factory 2. He works as a sort of blacksmith and can upgrade your equipment if you bring him the right materials. Here's his new concept art:
And next is Raven, previously from Rune Factory 3. She is a shopkeeper too, and you can by items and materials from her used in synthesising.
Both of them can eventually be recruited to go adventuring with you, but neither are marriage candidates. Man, I bet you would have gotten a huge discount at their shops from being their husband/wife.
Rune Factory 4 is out now in Japan! No news for a release elsewhere yet.
