A few months ago, editor and resident Poké-fan Andrew Barker had the notion to put together a history of the Pokémon series. With over 20 games in the main series alone, there's plenty to talk about.

So join Andrew (and a few others) in a retrospective of where Pokémon began, and the steps its taken to become the global phenomenon it is now. Oh, and some idle speculation about where the series might go after this fall's release of Pokémon Black 2 and White 2.
