After the game's announcement in August, Square Enix has finally released the first trailer for
Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, the third and final chapter of
FFXIII heroine Lightning's saga.
We tried to bring you this trailer yesterday, but our unofficial source was quickly forced to remove their version of the video. So here, for realsies, is our first look at Lightning exploring the city of Luxerion. The narration covers the basics of the story: The world is on the brink of disaster, and Lightning has 13 days to prevent it from ending. We also get a glimpse of the new action-based battle system and one of Lightning's many new outfits. If you've got a good eye - or pause incessantly like me - you'll spot some new class/role names and more. You're not even reading this, are you?
