When Love Songs was released as one of the first Playstation 2 dating sims in April 2001, very few people took notice. However, both the game (developed by HuneX and published by 3D Publisher) as well as its soundtrack deserve some attention.

The soundtrack comes on one disc containing a total of 28 songs, with the first ten of them character themes. Since Love Songs is a dating sim, the music is very light-hearted, fast-paced, and upbeat; definitely not boring or monotonous. The sound quality is good, yet (not so surprisingly) not in the same league as the orchestral soundtracks of many RPGs. My favorites include Ayano Seto's Theme, Friends Theme, and Relax.

Since the soundtrack, just like the game itself, isn't the most popular import item, your best bet is to check out at Otaku's website. For fans of dating sim soundtracks, this is definitely one album to take note of.
