...If you thought the Xenogears OST was good, "you ain't heard nuthin' yet"...

Xenogears: Creid (Celtic for "Believe") is my favorite CD that Yasunori Mitsuda has ever released (and I think I've heard them all up to this point). Creid is a Celtic-style CD, with a very diverse multitude of instruments. There are vocal and instrumental songs (though some of the instrumental songs have "oohs" and "aahs" and the like), and there are Japanese versions to "Star of Tears" (track 2) and "Small of Two Pieces" (track 10) on this CD. Maire Breatnach, known for her work in Final Fantasy IV: Celtic Moon, also contributed a great deal on this CD.

Every track on here is amazing, I wish I could sample them all. However, I was forced to pick and choose. The two tracks I REALLY am upset about not being to sample are track 3 and track 10, which are both very good tracks on their own. I just thought tracks 1, 4, 7, 8, and 9 were better. Then again, one could draw the parallel that Mitsuda had to decide what songs he would arrange for this CD.

Until the CD's reprint from Square Enix, this CD was becoming difficult to find. Now, thanks to the reprint, it is not difficult to find at all, and any Xeno fan should pick this soundtrack up right away!
